Any time a change is made to a Maintenance Routine, the new changes must be approved before they will be available from the VMS Client application.
Once a change has been made to a routine, the Approve Revision button will appear. If no changes have been made to either the routine or any of its steps since it was last approved, the Approve Revision button will not be available.
Any routines that have been revised but not yet approved will be listed in the List Revised Routines section.
NOTE: This will automatically display when clicking Maintenance Routine Editor from the VMS Menu.
To approve the current information as a revision please do the following:
1. Click on the maintenance routine you wish to approve by selecting it from List Revised Routines page or by finding it and selecting it from the list on the right hand side of the screen.
2. You will need to click on Approve Revision. This takes you to another form that allows you to accept or override the suggested next version number and approve the addition of the MR.
